Warranty

Manufacturer's / Standard Warranty:

Means any expressed or implied warranty applicable to the sale of your product for a specific period of time from the original date of purchase of your product.

Mechanical or Electrical Failure:

Means a sudden or unforeseen failure of your product arising from a mechanical or electrical fault.

Original Date of Purchase:

This means the date shown on the purchase receipt and/or Tax Invoice.

Original Purchase Price: 

This means the amount shown on the purchase receipt and/or Tax Invoice being the cost of Your Product.

You, Your: 

This means the person or persons who were the original purchasers and/ or are named as the purchaser on the original purchase receipt and/or Tax Invoice.

Your Product:

This means any product that you purchase for use as described in the purchase receipt and/or Tax Invoice.

We, Us, Our, Collectors Quest:

Refers to the selling retailer or an authorised agent of the selling retailer.

What does Manufacturer's / Standard Warranty Cover?

Manufacturer’s / standard warranty cover warrants that the products are to be free of defects in materials, workmanship and mechanical or electrical fault. They shall conform to specifications at the time of shipment, for a certain period from the original date of purchase. During the warranty period, any defective products will be repaired or replaced at Collectors Quest on a return-to-base basis. This Warranty covers defects that Collectors Quest determines are no fault of the user.

Transfer of Warranty

This manufacturer's / standard and extended warranty can be transferred to a new owner at the sale of your product providing written advice from you is forwarded to Collectors Quest customer service within 7 (seven) days of ownership transfer of your product.

Returning Your Product to Collectors Quest

You must obtain prior approval from Collectors Quest before returning any product by contacting our customer service team. All items and accessories that come with the product must be included in your return unless otherwise specified. Please package with care to avoid any physical damage to the product. The warranty will not be honoured if the package arrives with physical damage due to improper packing by the purchaser. Once packed, send the product to Collectors Quest with transportation charges paid.

Once an Item Has Been Returned

Once received, we will examine the product. Warranty work will be performed and once completed, Collectors Quest will either ship your product back to your address free of charge, replace the faulty products or arrange for a partial or full refund including for reasonable return postage costs. We cannot provide refunds, exchanges or replacements for items whereby the purchaser or another individual has damaged or altered the item in some way or it differs from the original condition of the item when it was shipped due to actions of the purchaser or another party.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Collectors Quest liability to buyer ever exceed the original purchase price of the product's covered by this document.

Exclusion of Damages

Collectors Quest shall not in any event or under any legal theory (whether tort, contract or otherwise) be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation lost profits, whether arising from the sale of products, any defect in the products, any use or inability to use the products or otherwise, even if Collectors Quest has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Change of Mind

Unfortunately, Collectors Quest cannot accept returns of items based on a change of mind. Please choose your item(s) carefully and make sure you know what exactly it is that you are purchasing.

Force Majeure

Any failure by Collectors Quest to perform any of its obligations shall not be deemed a breach if such failure is caused by strikes (including without limitation those affecting receipt, manufacture, production or shipment of materials), labour disputes or any concerted labour activity, lockouts, boycotts, embargoes, governmental regulations, orders or restrictions, wars, war-like actions, civil commotions, riots, uprising, revolutions, epidemics, fires, floods, storms, earthquakes, other natural occurrences, or any other causes, circumstances or conditions beyond the reasonable control of Collectors Quest.

Choice of Law

This order and any dispute or claim relating to it sold hereunder shall in all respects be governed by and construed according to the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria. If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, such invalidity or unenforceability will not affect the remainder of the agreement which will continue in full force and effect.
