We are now able to offer high-quality and professional battery change services for your cartridges at Collectors Quest! 

If you are unable to save your games any longer or time based events such as in the pokemon games are not working, the battery in your cartridge may need changing. Many people are not even aware their games have a battery let alone know how to solder in a replacement but at Collectors Quest we can do it for you.

While we try our best to get cartridges to save again sometimes certain games may not always respond to the new battery so please be aware. 

Changing the battery may cause your current save data to be reset so please keep this in mind.

As the changing of batteries requires soldering and can take some time depending on how many batteries you require changed, games will have to be dropped off / posted into the store and once repaired we will advise when you can pick up / when they will be posted back. The process is usually complete within the week.

For more than 10+ Cartridges please contact us first. Please send all cartridges with tracking and we recommend paying for insurance if required. Postage to us will be at your cost and return postage will be a flat $10 rate. 

We recommend sending the CARTRIDGES ONLY and not their original boxes. If you have clear plastic case holders to put them in this is ideal but not essential as long as they are packed well to avoid damage.

Once received, we will service them and then return the order to you using Australia Post with a tracking number. Please provide return details in the box when shipping to us e.g. address, phone and / or email. The process will typically take around a week (not including return postage transit times)
